The Playground, London - 18 September 2026

Free Session - Booking opens August via The Playground

I am returning to The Playground this autumn, in the large studio, to offer my Fine Art and Dance Installation practice.

We will begin with 30 minutes of self-regulation - not warming up, but arriving - so the nervous system settles and the body feels safe enough to listen.

Then we enter the installation. With a simple sheet of cellophane - the same material from my 'Army Dreamers' film for Kate Bush - we explore a single transformation: turning the hard click into the soft whoosh of a wand moving through air.

Working alone, in pairs, and as one group, we let the material guide us. No steps to learn, no story to prepare.

A Road, Not The Road

This work invites one shift in language: from "I am walking down THE road" to "I am walking down A road." THE closes the story - it depends on a fixed past and an imagined future. A opens it. A road is this moment only. The past is only what you think it was in this moment. The future is only this moment's projection. If the Big Bang had happened a fraction of a second earlier or later, this universe would not be here. Tell your story now - a fraction of a second later it would be a different story.

This is an invitation to be held, as one is held before a Mark Rothko painting. You don't need to understand - you need only to enter and let yourself be held.

This session is free. Energy is free; The Playground is offering the holding.

Wear soft clothes. Open to all bodies and levels.

If you would like me to tell you quietly when booking opens, you can join my mailing list here.
